イシガケチョウの来訪

アサギマダラがフジバカマを訪れた2日後に今度はイシガケチョウがフジバカマに吸蜜に訪れました。このフジバカマの由来は先般書いたとおりです。イシガケチョウは比較的樹木の多い林縁や林の中のチョウと思っていたので、この家の庭のような開けた場所に来るとは意外です。花と蝶を愛した方のもう一つのお別れと理解しておきましょう。

Two days after the Asagimadara visited Fuji-Bakama, another butterfly came for nectar-feeding, the Ishigakecho, or common map. I was surprised to see this butterfly in an open space like our garden, because I thought that this was a butterfly of forest edges and woods with relatively many trees.I wrote earlier about the origin of this fujibakama.  I will take this as another bidding of farewell from a lady who ardently loved flowers and butterflies.
