十月桜

川岸の料亭脇に十月桜が咲いています。桜はやはり春のものなので、秋の桜は何か冷え冷えとした感じがしますが、この日は曇り空ながら気温が高く、桜も美しく見えました。十月桜は春と秋に咲くそうで、春に3分の2、秋に3分の1の花が咲くとか。春の花の方が大ぶりだそうです。しばらく楽しめそうです。
