アケビの葉痕と冬芽：Five-leaf chocolate vine (Akebia quinata): Leaf marks and winter buds

アケビの葉痕を観察しました。アケビは冬の間緑の葉を付けている場合もあり、この時期では葉を散らして葉痕が観察できる蔓は少ないです。葉痕はつぶれた半円形で、維管束部分が飛び出ています。落葉から時間が経つと黒く変色するようです。

We observed the leaf traces of the Akebi. The vine may have green leaves during the winter, and at this time of the year, there are few vines with scattered leaves on which we can observe leaf traces. The leaf traces are crushed semicircular, with the vascular bundles sticking out. The surface seem to turn black after a long time of defoliation.
