Today was our monthly tree survey. It was blizzardy in the morning, and I wondered how many people would show up... But we had a great turnout of 11 people. We observed the trees in the park in the morning checking them up on the sheets. Two elderly women listened attentively and took notes, which made my preparations worthwhile. After we broke up, there was another snowstorm, so I took pictures of snowflakes falling on my gloves. Unfortunately, the temperature was so high that there were no delicate crystals, and even if there were, they melted quickly, so I couldn't take any good pictures, but I will post some of them here. According to Ukichiro Nakaya, a scientist from my hometown, snow is "a letter from heaven". Let's try to take more beautiful pictures.
