イヌノフグリ咲きました：Grey field-speedwell (Veronica polita var. lilacina) is now in bloom

一時絶えたかと思ったイヌノフグリですが、本日開花を確認しました。今日はうららかな昨日から10度ほども気温が下がって北風の吹く寒い日。にもかかわらず寒風を突いて今年の初開花です。場所としてはやはりコンクリートの基礎脇。土中のアルカリ度が大切なようです。

The speedwell, which was thought to have temporarily ceased to exist, was confirmed to be in bloom today. Today is a cold day with a northerly wind, and the temperature has dropped 10 degrees from yesterday. Despite this, I saw the first bloom of the year, defying the cold wind. The location of the plant was right next to the concrete foundation. It seems that the alkalinity of the soil is important.
