シュンラン開花：Shunran blooms (Cymbidium goeringii)

昨年知人のMさんよりいただいたシュンランが開花しました。育てやすいランだと聞いていましたが、自宅は何せ鉄筋コンクリートのマンション。ベランダは南向きのみで夏は猛烈に暑くなります。できるだけ日陰を作り、乾きを避けて育てていました。昨日開花したものの他につぼみは4つほどあります。次々に開花するのが楽しみです。

The shunran that Ms. M gave me last year, has flowered. She said that it was an easy orchid to grow, but my house is an apartment. The balcony faces south only, and it gets extremely hot in summer. I tried to keep it in the shade as much as possible to avoid heat and dryness. It worked well. Besides the one that flowered yesterday, there are about three other buds. I am looking forward to seeing them bloom one after another.
