冬越しの昆虫たち：Insects in winter

今日は日本海側で大雪が降っているようですが、盆地の京都では朝から青空が冴え、時折曇りはするものの、期待した降雪はありませんでした。先日渡月橋から川沿いに散策し、冬越しの昆虫の姿を求めました。昆虫たちにとって冬越しは試練です。地に潜るもの、樹皮に隠れるもの、葉裏に潜むもの、集団を作るもの、様々な方法で冬を忍びます。ここでは葉裏に潜んでいた虫たちを紹介します。

Heavy snow is falling on the Sea of Japan side today, but in Kyoto, a basin city, the sky was clear and blue from the morning, and although it was cloudy from time to time, there was no snowfall. I took a walk along the river from the Togetsukyo Bridge, Arashiyama, looking for insects that had survived the winter. For insects, wintering is an ordeal. Some hide on the ground, some in bark, some behind leaves, some in groups, and others in various ways. Here are some of the insects that hid on the undersides of leaves.

クロスジホソサジヨコバイという名のヨコバイのようです。背中に走る黒い線が特徴で、両側に赤い斑があるのは、メスだそうです。

斑がないこちらはオスでしょうね。

目の大きな昆虫です。名称不明。ハチの仲間というよりはアミメカゲロウの仲間のように見えます。

ヨコバイの仲間ですが、名称不明。

これは先ほどのアミメカゲロウの仲間とおぼしきものに若干似ていますが、不明種。

これはガガンボの仲間。

ウロコアシナガグモと思われます。

このヨコバイも種名不明。美しいです。

これはおそらく上記の幼生。
