マツヨイグサのウイルス病？

先般河川敷を散策していて、写真のような奇形になったマツヨイグサ、おそらくコマツヨイグサを見つけました。この付近に春咲くセイヨウカラシナには、白さび病という病気で、肥大化した花序を見ることがありますが、マツヨイグサでは初めてです。花材として面白いのではないかと思いますが、なんせ大きくて持ち運びはおよそできません。一部を切り取って保存しておこうかと考えています。

While strolling along the riverbed the other day, I found a deformed evening-primrose, probably the common evening-primrose (Oenothera laciniata), as shown in the photo. I've seen enlarged inflorescences on the spring-flowering Indian mustard in this area due to a disease called "white rust" (Albugo macrospora), but this is the first time I've seen it on this species. I think it would be interesting as a flower arrangement material, but it's too big to carry around. I'm thinking of cutting off a part of it and saving it.
